I am a PhD Student at Strategic Organization Design (SOD) + Digital Democracy Centre (DDC) at the University of Southern Denmark (SDU). I obtained my MSc degree in Sociology at the University of Copenhagen where I focused on computational methods. I have recently been a visiting PhD student at the Institute for Technology, Strategy, and Organization (ISTO) at LMU Munich. In my research, I use computational social science methods to investigate the impact of digital technologies on organizing, ecosystems and social movements.
With my PhD project I have embraced my interdisciplinary tendencies and taken the leap into the field of strategic management under supervision from Professor Oliver Baumann. I focus on inter-organizational behavior in times of digitalization and generative AI, and investigate ecosystem evolution and collaboration dynamics in the Danish digital news media ecosystem. This is achieved with big datasets and mixed-methods research designs, where I combine network analysis, natural language processing, and qualitative interviews. I also use object detection in my work on social movements.
